We commit ourselves to "engage in the evangelization and sanctification of men", an evangelization marked by  "the proclamation of Christ by word and testimony of life".

In union with the successor of Peter, we pledge to be dynamic witnesses of our Faith, to "bear witness to the truth" to be a  "leaven in the world",  to become active participants in the work of ecumenism and the servants of Christian unity.

We believe that the "Spirit will truly bring about a new Springtime of Faith" if our hearts open wide to His generous outpouring of grace.

We believe the 21st century, prepared for by the celebration of the Great Jubilee is to be a "new Springtime of Christian Life".  We will awaken others to the astonishing potential of their own spiritual destiny and encourage them to "be not afraid" as we "Cross the threshold of Hope".

We will be missionaries in building a "civilization of Love",  will strive to "bear fruit that lasts", while equipping others to become persons who embrace the possibilities of this season of Spring.

We entrust ourselves more fully to the Holy Spirit without whom "the most perfect preparation of the evangelizer has no effect", without whose assistance the "most convincing dialectic has no power over the hearts of men".

As this season of unprecedented spiritual renewal and moral restoration is dawning, our spirits are animated by a great sense of urgency while our hearts rejoice with the conviction that "God is preparing a great Springtime for Christianity and we can already see its signs."
